The students in the Rêveurs group undertook a creative project focused on writing their own etiological tale. Throughout this process, they explored the different stages of storytelling: after a collective brainstorming session to generate ideas, they learned to construct a narrative structure, organize their thoughts, and invent characters.
The students also worked on vocabulary and narrative tenses, as well as on staging the dialogues. The project was carried out in groups, fostering collaboration, discussion, and creativity. To bring their story to life, some students took on the role of narrators, while others portrayed the different characters during the recording.
Even though not all parts of the text were entirely written by the students—their teacher, Anne-Gaëlle, sometimes contributed to guide them and structure the narrative—all the ideas and imagination behind this tale originated with them.
This project was both collaborative and fun: the students had a great time and are all very proud of the result (and rightly so!).
For the mixing part, the students were able to discover the equipment and sound management techniques with Heykel, who worked with the group on all the technical aspects. They themselves chose the sounds to illustrate their story and were able to learn the basics of mixing.
